Our school is one of the largest Irish dancing schools in Brisbane and we hold classes on the north and south side of Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast. Our dancers regularly compete at monthly feises, State, Australian and World Championships and enjoy great success in both solo and team events.
Our dancers have gone on to join well known Irish dancing shows like Riverdance, Gaelforce Dance and Dance of Desire traveling the world. Our dancers perform across South East Queensland and are available for hire for your next event. The Queensland State Championships 2013 will be held at Logan Entertainment Centre on Friday 9th, Saturday 10th and Sunday 11th of August. Three days of the states best dancers competing for the state titles! The adjudicators are Chistine Ayres ADCRG (Victoria), Eileen Mulcahy ADCRG (Victoria) and Martin Percival ADCRG (USA). This year marks the 40th Queensland State Championships! To celebrate this event, AIDA Qld are inviting the champions from the very first championships. We are also requesting that people send through photos from the past championships so we can put together a gallery of the past 39 Qld State Championships. If you have any photos, please send them through to Breeda or Claire. Please ensure that you have permission to publish the photo before sending it through.
We are also looking for individuals or companies to sponsor sections of the championships. Sponsorship will help towards the funding of trophies, medals and sashes. AIDA Qld will acknowledge your sponsorship by way of public announcements and notation in our official program. You will also be invited to take part in the awards ceremony by providing prizes to the winners. If you would like more information on how to sponsor a section, please contact Breeda or Claire.

The 2013 Mid Year Feis will be held at the Nerang Bicentennial Hall on Saturday 20th July and Sunday 21st July. The adjudicators are Gabrielle Hall (Victoria) and Mary McElroy (Dublin). To view the timetable, click here.

This year’s Gold Coast Feis is being held at Albert Waterways Community Centre, Corner of Hooker Boulevard and Sunshine Boulevard, Mermaid Waters on Saturday 15th & Sunday 16th June. The adjudicators are Janice Currie-Henderson ADCRG (AUS), Julie Evans-O’Donnell ADCRG (IRE) & Lorraine Scallon ADCRG (IRE).

Scoil Ard Rince Dancers will be dancing a ‘Sandy Jig’ this Sunday 25th November for Australia’s biggest Dance-A-Thon to raise fund for victims of Hurricane Sandy.
At 11am Qld time, more than a thousand Irish Dancers across Australia will ‘Jig for Sandy’. Every dancer, from as young as 3 years old to over 30, will dance, at the same time, in hundreds of locations across Australia. All participants will be making a donation to help the American Irish Dancing community affected by Hurricane Sandy.
Join us at Suttons Beach, Redcliffe this Sunday at 10:30 for an 11am start. Bring along some morning tea and enjoy a relaxing Sunday on the Redcliffe foreshore – while helping those in need!

The 2012 Australian Championships will be held at th Goyder Pavilion, Adelaide from Tuesday 25th September through to Sunday 30th September.
